I was wondering the same thing so did some research on the Washington State Department of Transportation website and here is what I found:

  • This project in both directions of I-90 will be adding capacity to the roadway. They estimate the improvements will provide relief for almost 150,000 travelers who use this stretch every day.

  • The projects main objective is to add auxiliary lanes and build sound walls to minimize the effects of road noise.

  • What is an auxiliary lane and how will it help? The auxiliary lane is an extra lane added between closely spaced interchanges which gives drivers more time and space to enter or exit the roadway. They will be located on the outside of the existing lanes in both

Release Date: August 26, 2019

As we shared earlier this month, construction on the Issaquah-Fall City Road project is expected to begin today, Monday, Aug. 26, and last for about two years. Work over the next couple weeks will be limited and is expected to have little impact on traffic conditions in the area. We will continue to provide regular updates as additional construction activities are scheduled.

SE Issaquah-Fall City Road will remain open throughout construction, except during the 8-month closure between 247th Pl SE and Klahanie Dr SE during bridge construction. Traffic control and flaggers will be present to direct traffic through the work area. Expect some potential delays, noise, dust, and vibration during

Another question I get is “where is a good place to meet friends for a glass of wine?” My response is the best kept secret, Capri Cellars, in Olde Town Issaquah. It is a wine shop, tasting room and bistro with a warm casual environment. Capri Cellars is a wonderful place to unwind with a glass of wine and a cheese plate. You can enroll in one of their several wine clubs and enjoy lots of discounts and perks. You will find them at 88 Front St S., just one block south of E. Sunset Way. Cheers and see you there!

Yes, Yes and Absolutely Yes!!

It seems like most sellers like to wait until spring to put their houses on the market. My advice is get your house on the market ASAP.

Here are the reason you should sell now:

  • Historically low inventory levels (less than one month of inventory in King County)

  • There is a large pool of ready, willing and approved buyers flooding the market

What does it mean for you:

  • Recently listed houses are getting upwards of 6 offers and going for 10's of $1,000's (sometimes more than $100,000) over asking price
  • Less competition will get more buyers through your house

If you are looking to sell your house, let me show you my full service 1% (+buyer

This graph shows the medium sales price in 98074 in the dark color and 98075 in the green color. The median price increased in 2017 by 11.1% (98074)and 11.7% (98075) showing a strong increase in prices. The median home price in 98075 is $1.050.000 and in 98074 is $900.000 for all residential sales.

This graph shows the amount of inventory in months which decreased in 98074 (1.3 to 1.1 ) and stayed the same in 98075 (1.3). This statistic shows that we are still in a sellers market. If no more inventory came on the market, there would be less than a month and half of inventory. A balanced market is when there is 4-6 months of inventory, which is not something we will be seeing anytime soon.

What does this all mean for you?

It is even more
